The open day will allow the community to walk through the new building as it nears completion.
"We are nearing completion on this wonderful project, and thought it would be a great opportunity for community members to walk through the aquatic centre to see how much work has gone into the construction," general manager Warwick Bennett said.
"You really need to walk through the facility to appreciate how big it is, and what a vast improvement it is for our region.
"We will only be holding the one open day for the Aquatic Centre, prior to completion and official opening in the early months of 2022, so I encourage you to take advantage of these tours."
Council intends to open the facility for scheduled tours from 10am.
The tours will be guided in a series of groups, therefore registrations are essential to set the group sizes.
Registrations can only be made through the council's website.
All visitors will be required to check in and check out, be double vaccinated and participate in site induction.
Council will supply personal protective equipment (PPE). Please wear solid enclosed footwear on the day and keep in mind you will be touring an active construction site.
Please note the Aquatic Centre is currently a construction site, and therefore is not currently accessible to wheelchairs or children's strollers. When complete the facility will be accessible to all and we apologise for this inconvenience.
Stage 1 of the Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre redevelopment includes a new eight-lane indoor pool, indoor program pool, hydrotherapy pool, water play areas, gym, café linking with Victoria Park, upgraded change rooms and facilities and new carparking facilities.
