Adult's Summer Reading Challenge
- December 1 - January 31, Goulburn Mulwaree Library
Dive into some new reads with the library's reading challenge. You can be in the running to win vouchers from places like Lilac City Cinema, Shop 2580 and the Bookshop Bowral. Tablelanders need to complete a registration form at the library and will receive a goodie bag. The reading challenge has an around the world theme.
Hume Music Time Online
- December 1, Facebook live, 10am
Early Childhood music teachers Deb McConnell and Nyssa Milligan have created an interactive music program for children from the ages of zero to seven. Children learn about music by playing musical games, singing, dancing and will enjoy a puppet show.

Kids Summer Reading Club
- December 1 - January 28, Goulburn Mulwarree Library
Kids can grab a welcome pack and start reading over the summer holidays. Young readers can redeem Summer Reading Club coupons and log their books for the Summer Reading Club market next year.
Lieder Theatre season launch and information night
- December 2, Lieder Theatre, 6pm
The Lieder Theatre Company is welcoming Tablelanders to next year's season launch and information night on December 2. Carpentry, cooking and craft are some of the many skills volunteers have harnessed at the country's oldest community theatre.
The theatre's footpath mosaic created by artist Cayla Pothan from the Tootsie Gallery Café in Yass will be unveiled on the night at 6pm. Tablelanders can come and enjoy some food and a glass of bubbly after the mosaic is launched and can meet the directors (below) of upcoming shows in 2022.
New movie releases
- From December 2, Lilac City Cinemas
Two new movies will be hitting the screens at Lilac City Cinema this week. Movie lovers can watch Disney's newest adventure animation Encanto or watch the fantasy sci-fi drama Dune.

St Saviour's Community Craft and Garage Sale
- December 4, 170 Bourke Street, Goulburn, 9am-1pm
The first Saturday of the month means the St Saviour's Community Craft and Garage Sale is back! Explore a variety of stalls that have things such as garden equipment, crafts, books and bric-a-brac at low prices. Refreshments are also available.
Author Talk with Sophie Green
- December 4, Goulburn Mulwaree Library, 2- 3.30pm
Listen to Sophie Green speak about her newest book Thursdays at Orange Blossom House. It is set in Cairns in the 1990s and is a tale about friendship. You can secure your spot here.
Terribly British Day
- December 5, Queanbeyan Park, 10am-2pm
Come for a day out full of cars and bikes. Over 200 cars and bikes from areas such as the ACT, Bathurst, Sydney, South Coast and Newcastle will be on display. The day is organised by the Triumph Car Club of the ACT, and is supported by the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.
The Rotary Club of Queanbeyan and local small businesses will provide food and drinks.
Funds raised and donations will be given to Respite Care for QBN,Yvonne Cuschierie's dream.

Adult's Christmas Craft : Advent Calendar
- December 5, Goulburn Mulwaree Library, 2.30-4.30pm
Use matchboxes and decoupage to create your own advent calendar in time for the festive season. People can book their spot here.
Sunday sessions
- December 5, Goulburn Club, 1pm - 5pm
Kick back and relax, or even bring your voice and instrument along to Sunday Sessions at the Goulburn Club. A mix of Australian, folk, Americana and Celtic songs will be played. Tablelanders can enjoy Aussie songs from 1pm to 3pm and Americana hits from 3pm to 5pm.
Goulburn Bustle

- Until January 28, Goulburn Regional Gallery, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 12pm - 4 pm
The gallery's permanent exhibition will take over the gallery's main exhibition space with new acquisitions, hidden gems and favourites from previous showcases.
The collection has been curated by the gallery's team, and is the last exhibition of the year.
Exhibition: Genevieve Swifte 'Blister'
- Until January 8, Goulburn Regional Gallery
Canberra based artist Genevieve Swifte's exhibition is full of portraits, still-life pictures and self-portraits which tell a story about trauma and intimacy. She works on a variety of mediums and explores her heritage and connection to Australia's landscape.
