Muddy water washes over Eastgrove Street from cleared subdivision
Part of an Eastgrove street transformed into a sea of muddy water on Wednesday night as heavy rain washed dirt down from a residential subdivision. May Street resident and horticulturalist Judith Ferneley watched as the water lapped up to the fence of her home. The group meet monthly in Goulburn for a cuppa and to share memories, grief and everything in between. They also meet annually for Candle Lighting Day on December 12 for a ceremony to remember loved ones.
Goulburn set to field multiple teams in upcoming State Championships
The Goulburn District Hockey Association has confirmed that it will have a strong presence at the upcoming NSW Indoor Hockey State Championships. Six of the 10 State Championships are scheduled to take place in Goulburn between January and February. They were initially set to begin in October 2021 and run through to early December, but Hockey NSW postponed all events until 2022 due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the state.
