The former Trinity Catholic College student, who turns 22 on Christmas Eve, had an early birthday present when she was crowned the 2022 Young Woman at the Goulburn AP and H Society Young Woman Presentation and Annual Christmas Dinner on Friday, December 3.
The agriculture industry is something very close to Ms Liversidge's heart and that, along with being able to follow in her mother's footsteps of being Young Woman, were the main reasons she was stoked with the achievement.
"My mother's had an amazing influence to me throughout my life and we have always talked about doing this," she said.
"I want to be an ambassador for young people and agriculture and this is the perfect platform for me to do it.
"We need to bring more young people through to the agriculture industry so that it doesn't end with the last generation."
Her mother Roxanne, who was Crookwell Showgirl in 1989, said it was an "absolutely fantastic" feat and had always hoped it was something her daughter would do.
Claire Liversidge, who grew up in Cowra before moving to Goulburn in 2014, currently works on the family farm with her parents and brother while also studying for a certificate three in agriculture.
Her ultimate goal is to work in marine and agriculture conservation and to be an ambassador for the agriculture industry within the marine biology field.
She also wants to run her own property with cattle and create a safe haven for rescued animals.
This year, she was fortunate enough to be the recipient of the NSW Farmers Agriculture and Wool Classing Scholarship through TAFE NSW.
Ms Liversidge is a big fan of dancing and has performed and taught in Goulburn and Canberra.
As well as dance, her community involvement has included playing and being part of the MBK Soccer Club in Gunning and Goulburn.
She was also a member of the Trinity Catholic College Show Cattle team, attended many ANZAC parades with the school and family and this year, took an active part in the Goulburn Show to see what it was all about.
