Police are appealing for information following a robbery in The Hume region yesterday.

About 4am on Wednesday January 5, a professional photographer, a man aged 37, was travelling on the Hume Highway, Sutton Forest, and turned onto Belanglo Road near the Gordon VC rest area to take photographs.
Shortly after, a utility parked behind his car, and two unknown masked men approached the photographer's vehicle, threatened the man before taking a small suitcase containing a laptop, camera, camera equipment, several lenses, with a combined total of around $18,000.
The pair fled in the ute and the man - who was uninjured - contacted police. Officers attached to The Hume Police District have commenced an investigation.
The men are described as being Caucasian appearance. One was wearing a red hooded jumper, while the second was wearing a grey hooded jumper. Both were wearing shorts and dark face coverings.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information, including witnesses or motorists travelling on the Hume Highway in both directions between Golden Vale Road and the Illawarra Highway between 3.30am and 4.30am on Wednesday 5 January 2022 - particularly those with dashcam vision - are urged to call Southern Highlands Police on 4868 1222 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
