Two people have been flown to separate hospitals following a multi-vehicle crash on the Kings Highway.
Emergency services responded to the crash 26km east of Braidwood at Manar at 5pm Friday.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said it involved a truck and two cars. The service responded with two road crew and two rescue helicopters.
They treated three people at the scene. A man, believed to be in his 20s and driving a sports car, was flown to Canberra Hospital with serious injuries to his torso. It's understood the truck driver was not seriously injured.
A woman, who was driving a car and thought to be in her 50s, was flown to Liverpool Hospital with serious leg injuries.
Police and Mulloon and Bungendore RFS brigades also attended.
The Kings Highway remains closed in both directions and traffic diversions are in place

The Traffic Management Centre advises that the Kings Highway is closed in both directions at Manar, between Braidwood and Bungendore, due to a multi-vehicle crash at Jamaleopa Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area or allow plenty of extra travel time.

Light vehicles can detour via Tarago and Oallen using Tarago Road, Lumley Road, Cullulla Road, Sandy Point Road, Oallen Ford Road, Oallen Road and Nerriga Road instead.
Heavy vehicles are being parked.

The crash follows a fatal crash on the Kings Highway at Mulloon at 12.15pm Thursday. A 51-year-old man died at the scene.
