The committee of BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Inc blamed the current situation with the Omicron version of COVID-19.
"We were able to hold this event last year under COVID-safe conditions but unfortunately the new variety has made it problematic for an early February event," said president Nerida Cullen.
"The new owner of Kingsdale Winery, John Gebran, is supportive of Movies Under the Stars and our decision to delay.
"He is keen to help us revamp the cuisine of the night through his expertise as a restaurateur and like us is now on hold."
The committee are raising money for a new patient information and entertainment system, and said they hope the community will continue to support them.
"We hope we do not need to postpone again and look forward to welcoming you on March 19 at Kingsdale Winery for Goulburn's Movie Under the Stars," said Ms Cullen.
The event will show the Australian classic, 'Red Dog - True Blue', starring Brian Brown.
Tickets are available at Eventbrite and at BDCU, Auburn Street.
