While it was a difficult end to their schooling for the class of 2021, Goulburn High School celebrated some good HSC results.

With the results released on Thursday, January 20, students celebrated their results with a breakfast barbecue at the school.
Former school captains Ben Luck and Lachlan Handley were among those who were pleased with their results.

Ben, who achieved a Band 6 in biology and an ATAR of 87.55 said he was glad to finally have his HSC results and extremely pleased with how he had gone.
"I definitely did better than I thought I would do and I'm pretty happy," he said.
"I think the Chemistry exam was the hardest I've ever done in my entire life.
"To think the results were pushed forward for us was definitely good."
Ben will now study environmental science at the University of Canberra and said he was "really excited" to start his university journey.
Lachlan was also pleased with his HSC results.
"I did better than I thought I'd do and I'm happy to get it out of the way [HSC results] and move on to university," he said.
Lachlan will now study engineering at the University of Wollongong.
Goulburn High School principal Yogesh Mani congratulated the students on their result, with the school achieving a band six and a large number of band fives across the cohort.
"I want to congratulate students on their achievements," Mr Mani said.
"In what has been a difficult year, they've done the best they could.
"We're happy with the results and want to wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
"Most of the students got the result they expected and they are now pursuing their future career aspirations.
"A big thanks also go to the teachers and non-teaching staff for their continued support of the students."
