A film crew from Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT also attended to capture the heart of regional Australia via the story of the 11-year-old who is an inspiration.
It was a fitting event to hold because Beau aspires to play wheelchair rugby one day.
"My hero is Ryley Batt, the captain of the Australian wheelchair rugby team," Beau said.
"I love how he bashes into the opposition when they come at him."
The breakfast was followed by the car show hosted by the Goulburn Street and Classic Car Club at Gray Park where the funds raised would go towards helping Beau buy a BiPap machine to help with his breathing.
Beau's mother Sam Cosgrove was overcome with emotion when she thanked the club and all the generous donators.
"Our town is so good and they always offer to help us," Ms Cosgrove said.
"We always try to say no because it's a bit confronting."
Goulburn Street and Classic Car Club president Stephen Parsons said they pounced on the opportunity to raise funds for Beau and said the club was always there as an open book to help people.
