Mr Schultz, who this week donated $100 to the cause, has also issued a challenge to the region’s other political representatives to get involved.
“It never ceases to amaze me as a Member of Parliament how communities punch above their weight for a most worthy cause such as improving local health,” he said.
“These types of events cross all cultural and political borders so I would encourage all, including our other local political representatives, to take part.”
BDCU Goulburn Hospital Foundation committee spokesman Mathew Fruend revealed that more than a dozen local businesses had already registered for tomorrow’s fundraiser, with many more expected to take part on the day.
