Greyhounds back at the Showground

On a difficult card of racing, punters may find it tough to get results and it could be regular trainer Sheila Lewis who may provide some return early in the day.

She has both Go Cyril Go and Redmundo Mundo in races two and three respectively with excellent chances of a winning double.

Redmundo Mundo ran some career best races back in July/August and although coming back to the 350m tomorrow is ideally drawn in the eight. He won in fast time over 457m and finished second twice in the BOD also.

While Go Cyril Go returns from failures at Bulli and Wentworth Park to a track where he seems to find his best,

He hasn't won since May and this is the easiest race that he has found for a while.

One runner who may prove to be value tomorrow is High On in race five. She comes into this as a last start Nowra winner while she had no early luck off the one box at Goulburn back in July.

Her five draw tomorrow probably doesn't help her chances again but she can begin and maybe able to offset the box quickly.

Last year’s Cup winning trainer Mat Matic has a strong hope of winning the fourth race with Persian Oil after he ran slick time to win off the one box at Nowra last month. The kennel has a great record at Goulburn and any price in the black will be a good price.

Punters should remember that they now have the availability of the NSW TAB on course at every greyhound meeting.
