The round will take place over both tomorrow and Sunday with qualifying on Saturday morning and three rounds of racing over Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
In what has been a two-month break between rounds, the NSW Championship competitors are itching to get back into battle on the technical 2.2km circuit.
The battle in the Championship class remains hotly contested and the current leaders are Anglo Australian Motorsport team-mates Richard Goddard and Adam Leung.
In the past Goddard has always been strong around Wakefield Park but Leung, who has had a mixed run, is currently enjoying impressive form.
Aiming to take up the challenge to both Goddard and Leung at the pointy end of the field are the likes of Icon Motorsport's Derryn Harrison, Ryan Campbell, Listec Racing's Russell Newell and Daniel Lewis.
Synergy Motorsport driver Daniel Cotton has been the form driver in the Listec class and he is no doubt looking to maintain that this weekend. Earlier in the NSW Championship Cotton didn't have the best of weekends and consequently missed out on the winning spoils.
The main threat for Cotton this weekend will be Listec Racing's Alan Price. He has been hot on the tail of Cotton at most rounds this year and is a solid chance to turn the tables.
The Pre-2000 is one of the most hotly contested classes within this year's NSW Championship and amongst the entries for this weekend's round is a host of challengers.
The likes of current NSW Championship class leaders Darryl Hall and Jon Collins, along with veteran racers John Pereia and Jeff Senior, Andrew Lydon and Anglo Australian Motorsport team driver Emma Brown will all be vying for honours.
Doug Mately and Tom Tweedie lead the way in the Classic class, while in the Historic class Garry Watson firms as the favourite.
With a field of close to 20 entries, the round shapes up to be hotly contested.
The penultimate round of the NSW Championship is scheduled to begin on Saturday with a qualifying session in the morning and the opening race in the afternoon, and then on Sunday the second race will be in the morning and then the third and final race is to be held in the afternoon.
The final date on the NSW Formula Ford Championship calendar is round five at Eastern Creek Raceway on October 23 and 24.
