It’s as simple as that. But whether everything goes smoothly is another question.
Team manager Neil Grant told the Post it’s going to be “our attack against their defence.”
“We must start the game hard and switch on. That’s what Steve (Downey, coach) told the boys last night. We can’t afford not too because good teams are going to take advantage and run away with it.”
Grant is referring to last weekend’s grand-final qualifier in which Goulburn went down to Central 5-4.
At one stage, Goulburn were down 5-1 before a courageous second-half comeback.
If Goulburn is to get past the Old Canberrans tomorrow afternoon, they’re going to have to go out guns blazing.
“It’s one of those things where everyone says we’ve done a terrific job this year, which is fine. But there’s a feeling which I know I have, I know Steve (Downey) has, and I know Glenn (Turner) has, that we can go on and win the whole thing,” Grant said.
Goulburn takes on Old Canberrans at Lyneham, 4pm tomorrow.
