Officers attached to Sydney’s Strikeforce Raptor arrested former Goulburn resident Paul King in a Parramatta street on Thursday afternoon, following a three-month search.
The 37-year-old had been charged with 16 counts of knowingly supplying a prohibited drug last October.
Magistrate Geraldine Beattie convicted him in his absence at Goulburn Local Court in late October, following a warrant for his arrest a week earlier.
He was last seen in the Carlingford area on Tuesday, October 21, and was known to frequent Carlingford, Tempe and Goulburn.
Raptor officers, targeting outlawed motorcycle gangs, were assisting Goulburnbased Strikeforce Coull, aimed at interrupting the supply of methylamphetamine and cannabis.
On Friday, crime manager Detective Inspector Chad Gillies described King as a “main target.”
He was refused bail in Parramatta Local Court on Thursday and his case adjourned to that jurisdiction on March 26 for mention.
King is facing a further 13 charges, which were adjourned to February 13.
