The Collector Pumpkin Festival and the Tallong Apple Festival are scheduled for the same weekend and Goulburnians have to choose between the events.
Families could of course go to both Festivals, but as one is around 30 minutes north of Goulburn and the other around 30 minutes south, it's a round trip of two hours BEFORE you add in parking and participating in activities, and that's a lot of travel for young families.
It's a real pity because they are both fantastic, fun festivals even if they are as different as... well, apples and pumpkins.
Both events seem rigidly locked into the first weekend in May.
So we're asking if Goulburnians would be more likely to attend both festivals if they didn't clash.
Do you attend either festival? Do you attend both? Which is your preference? Please add your comments as well.
