Robbie Coulstock played Greg Rice and I played John Cassidy on last Sunday.
After a strong start with a few multiples, Greg had built up a handy 17-7 lead by the 12th end. Robbie put the pressure on and started a comeback to get to 20 all.
He had won 11 of 12 ends toward the end of the game, which led to the win 31-21.
The other game was fairly even in the first half where I had a slender lead 11-9 over John after 12 ends.
The second half was a little different as I had got a few multiples and started to build a lead and then carried on with it, winning overall 31- 16 after 26 ends.
The Semi Finals will be myself versus Chris McCullen and Robbie Coulstock versus Dave Sellars.
Both should be tough games, well deserved to all four players.
A Consistency match was played last Saturday between two big guns, Warren Guyer and Keith Gray.
Warren had to give a four start to Keith, but from the outset it was Keith’s day, getting good numbers early and reaching the 150 mark after 26 ends. Result 150-97.
