Adam Jones plans to celebrate by re-watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which gave fans new hope about the films to come from the Disney - LucasFilm deal.
The Eaglehawk man has been a Star Wars fan for 40 years.
His Darth Vader suit is a thing to behold. Mr Jones has improved it with the addition of a voice unit.
It makes the Sith Lord’s iconic breathing sounds and recites lines from the movie in actor James Earl Jones’s voice.
People might remember encountering Mr Jones in his suit at EB Games in Lansell Square when the Star Wars Battlefront game was released at the end of last year.
“It took about 20 minutes to go from my car to the doors as I kept getting stopped for photos,” Mr Jones said.
"Darth Vader’s story is one of good versus evil and how even he could be redeemed.”
