Saturday, of the Goulburn Motorcycle Club hosted event is juniors day, where junior riders from 7 years old will compete on a course marked out on the paddocks on the shores of the lake.
Also competing on the Saturday will be their parents, attempting to show the youngsters how it’s done on larger machines.
On Sunday the open class and senior events will be held.
The event is held on natural terrain with no specially created jumps or hills though riders may get air over the undulating terrain.
A water truck is used between events to settle the dust where necessary and to help maintain the integrity of the course.
This event has proved too be very popular with spectators as from the roped off vantage points a large proportion of the course can be viewed.
Spectators are most welcome to attend the two day event but are warned that this is a private property and care should be taken when driving along the access roads to watch for oncoming or slow vehicles and possibly animals or pedestrians.
Also spectators are asked not to drop any rubbish but take it with them when they leave or deposit it in the bins provided.
The local Rural Fire Brigade will be operating the canteen and proceeds of this will help fund brigade activities and equipment.
Goulburn Motorcycle Club members will be joined by riders from the Macarthur, Bega, Nowra Canberra and Cooma Clubs for what should be an action packed weekend.
To get to the circuit from Goulburn, take the Hume Highway north to Rampton Hills Rd just before Lake Narrambulla, (formerly known as Lake Ross) and turn left then follow the signs till you reach the property gate which will be signposted and take the track which will lead you right to the parking area for the circuit.
Drive carefully and watch for oncoming vehicles.
