Teacher and coordinator Chelsea Ralph told the Post that fundraising for the event had far exceeded their expectations. “Overall I’m really rapt with how the day has gone,” Ms Ralph said.
“The kids really enjoyed dressing up in pink and fundraising, with other little activities such as lolly-guessing and the sale of raffle tickets for 20 cents as well as hats and wristbands and other little prizes were up for grabs. Our fundraising target was $650 and by Thursday evening we had well and truly exceeded that.”
She thanked Goulburn Soldiers Club and Vintage House, who made significant donations.
