UPDATE:10am A 63 year old Goulburn woman involved in a Hume St head-on yesterday afternoon has suffered a suspected fractured sternum.
She was involved in a collision on the corner of Hume St and Finlay Rd at about 4pm on May 23.
She is in a stable condition in Canberra Hospital.
The woman was travelling north on Hume St and then tried to turn right into Finlay Rd, but failed to give way to a silver Toyota travelling south on Hume St.
The two vehicles collided head on, causing the woman's car to roll over onto its roof, trapping her inside by only her seat belt.
Police Rescue managed to remove the woman, who was put into an ambulance and conveyed to Canberra Hospital.
The driver of the Toyota, a 49 year old male from Vermont in Victoria was fortunate to come away with only minor injuries due to the deployment of the vehicle's airbags.
