She faces a very uncertain future.
To assist her in her fight against the illness, Goulburn Argyle Rotary and North Goulburn McDonalds are holding a fundraiser for her on September 20.
Goulburn Argyle Rotary spokesperson Malcolm Wybrow said Mikayla needs some financial support to afford great doctors and medical care.
“Upon hearing of her battle Goulburn Argyle Rotary flew into action with one of its members Wayne Cohen from Action Coach rescheduling Profit Club’s weekly meeting and getting its 30-member strong membership digging deep to raise $600 for Mikayla’s cause, last Tuesday,” Mr Wybrow said.
“Not to be outdone, another member of the Argyle Rotary Club Daimon Poole, the North Goulburn McDonalds Owner/Manager then pledged that an hour’s profits on the night of Tuesday (September 20) between 6 and 7pm would go directly towards Mikayla’s ongoing treatment.
“At a time when Mikayla needs all our help we urge you to show your support by joining with Argyle Rotary, McDonalds North Goulburn and our community in helping Mikayla in her fight and ongoing treatment as well as showing how much we care.”
He said anyone unable to make it on Tuesday night could go to Mikayla’s Gofundme page at Gofundme.com/Mikayla Armour – for more information as to how they can support her.
“Mobile numbers will not to be distributed and are meant for the use of the recipient only,” he said.
