The game was in the balance with Hibo Gold getting a good score of four wickets for 101 runs in 20 overs. The game looked interesting.
Opener Josh Wearne was hitting the ball very well and made 35 runs, and anchored the innings.
After drinks, wickets fell very quickly. Tim Elliott scored 21 runs and was the only other player in double figures. Hibo Gold lost six wickets for eight runs.
Andrew Munroe (4 for 10 off 6 overs) and Stewart Tahana (3 for 4 off 2.1 overs) were the pick off the bowlers. Bowlo Rats’ innings started very fast with Rob Channing getting five sixes in the first three overs. He had the Rats flying. Channing ended up going with the score on 71. His opening partner only scored 10 in the time he had hit 61. The Rats chased down the 110 target in 11 overs.
