Local trainers Kurt Goldman, Scott Collings and Danny Williams all have horses nominated in the feature race on the Goulburn program. With a minimum total prize money of $30,000 in each race, racegoers can expect some quality fields, said club chief executive Robyn Fife.
Williams’ Secateur will be racing over a shorter distance than usual, but carrying a heavier weight in what is expected to be a good test of the former British stayer’s sprinting fitness. Goldman has nominated Super Force and Gambled.
Goldman and Williams have several other horses nominated in the races across the afternoon. Other local trainers who have nominated horses in the program include John Bateman and Greg Gooch. There will be a strong representation of South Coast trainers, too.
