Competition starts from about 9am and continues all day.
Development meets are the first opportunity club swimmers usually get to compete outside of their local club competitions. This is apart from the school swimming carnivals and the school regional competitions.
On Sunday there will be swimmers from ages five to 16 years competing in a range of distances in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly events.
Invitations were sent to a large number of swimming clubs and more than 80 competitors have registered to take part.
There will be swimmers coming from the Blue Mountains, Illawarra, north Sydney, ACT, and many other clubs around the region to compete against the local club members.
Goulburn Amateur Swimming Club has several new competitors this year and many of its returning members will be attempting longer distances than they swam last year.
They will also be aiming to improve on their personal best times.
Two lanes only of the 25 metre pool and wading pool areas will be open to public as lifeguard training is also being conducted.
