Once again funds are being raised to restore the Laggan Memorial Hall and the community is asked to get along and support this worthy cause. Last year, $905 was raised and it is hoped to equal or better this figure in 2017.
More than 200 vehicles will be on display and organisers said the event has grown very quickly in size and poplularity.
There will be four expert judges from different parts of the auto industry, such as panel beaters, mechanics and painters. The judges are Dave Rose, Barry Jameson and Nathan Slattery and Colin Davis and they will be kept busy as they assess the quality of the cars. Last year the judges said the quality of cars was remarkable and a testament to all of the owners.
Crookwell Junior Rugby League will sell steak and sausage sandwiches and breakfast rolls from 6am and an ice cream truck and coffee will be on site all day, as well as pub meals.
Laggan Pub is on Peelwood Road, Laggan.
