The students from ‘Class 330’ of the Associate Degree in Policing Practice will be sworn in during an Attestation ceremony at the NSW Police Force Academy in Goulburn on Friday.
The Commissioner will be joined by the Governor of NSW, His Excellency General, The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), to inspect the new recruits on the parade ground. Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Troy Grant, will also attend.
The ceremony will also see retiring officers Commissioner Andrew Scipione AO, APM, Superintendent Beth Stirton APM, and Superintendent James Johnson APM, farewelled after a combined 115 years of distinguished service between them with the NSW Police Force.
