It will also be the 21st anniversary since they started playing on Poidevin Oval, the club’s home ground and where they have built a practical clubhouse, which is a great vantage point for watching the on-field action with canteen and other facilities at hand.
On Saturday, the Dirty Reds play the Young Yabbies. Both teams will be looking for a win, with Young a little below Goulburn on both ladders. Numbers are not looking too bad for the Reds, despite a few players out with injuries, but they are always looking for players.
The main games will start a little earlier than usual, second grade at 12.45pm and first grade at 2pm, to allow players and supporters time to prepare for the evening festivities at the Goulburn Workers Club.
