Jordan Bianco, 35, of Goulburn, pleaded guilty to damaging property, when he appeared in Goulburn Local Court on November 15.
Police facts said at 2am on September 24, Bianco was refused entry into Flamingos Nitespot by security due to his level of intoxication.
He left and arrived a short time later at the rear of the premises and was seen by the security guards attempting to gain entry.
He was seen walking out onto the fire escape landing and was again told to leave. A security guard later noticed the door to one of the flats had been opened and was badly damaged.
Police were alerted and arrived a short time later and security guards identified Bianco for them at a nearby service station.
Bianco represented himself in court, saying he had since apologised to the nightclub owner and paid him $500 in compensation.
“There was no excuse for my behaviour,” Bianco told the court.
“I was under the influence of alcohol and it was stupid.”
He told the court he had since completed a Mental Health Plan and had appointments to see a psychologist.
Magistrate Geraldine Beattie said his behaviour was “disgraceful.”
“You were refused entry because of your intoxication and you went back and tried to get in on the fire escape by forcing a door,” she said.
“I am glad you are doing something about your problems, but make sure it doesn't happen again.”
She fined Bianco $500 and placed him on a section-nine bond for six months.
