In fact it’s about five tonnes worth of festive decorations, says its owner, Tony Lamarra.
The Tony’s Handyman Centre proprietor and former Goulburn Mayor has reindeers (not the live variety), Christmas trees, lights, garlands and much more stockpiled at his warehouse at 35 Ross Street, Bradfordville.
He said the items had been collected over the years and some were donated.
He and wife Adriana want to sell the lot in an effort to raise money for this year’s Community Carols of Hope to be held in Belmore Park on Friday, December 22.
“Half of everything we sell will go to the Carols,” Mr Lamarra said.
He’s been a long-time supporter of the event, which has been running for over 20 years. Organisers have struggled to cover costs on some occasions.
The Ross Street facility is open from 7am to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday up until Christmas.
