The Auxiliary worked steadily throughout the year organising various activities including the annual fete, craft fair and car boot sales.
Support from the community for these events was very much appreciated.
With Warrigal being very close to capacity, additional equipment is needed.
Air mattresses for palliative care are a priority, along with special wheelchairs to cater for the less mobile residents.
The Auxiliary agreed to assist with finance when available.
The ‘coffee shop’ girls are providing support as well. They do a great job all round.
Residents’ Christmas gifts have been decided on. Thank you to Bev Thompson for her assistance.
Hampers and a meat pack make up three prizes for our Christmas raffle. Tickets are now being sold.
The Knitters Group continues to enjoy their Tuesday afternoons. Any interested people are most welcome to join.
Afternoon teas for special days were very much enjoyed by residents with family and friends.
Thank you to Rachel and staff for their assistance for these functions.
Expressions of sympathy are extended to those who have lost loved ones this year. The Auxiliary and staff share their loss.

The Auxiliary is sincerely grateful for all the support given in may different way, enabling us to continue to provide funding for care, comforts and social needs for Warrigal residents.
The Auxiliary will regroup on Tuesday, January 2 in 2018 at 1.30pm at 7 St Aubyn Road. New faces would be very welcome.
It has been an enjoyable and rewarding year. Wishing you all a joyous Christmas and New Year.
