SUMMER HILL
Summer Hill was a well known property in the pioneering days and it is recorded in the Archives of the Historical Society. Alfred John Connor (1881-1962) married Harriett O’Connor (1864-1947). The O’Connor family was : Dennis (1891-1982) born in Limerick; Peter (1893-1942); Bridget and Hannah. Dennis O’Connor has a lone headstone in the old orchard at Summer Hill. It is thought there may have been a second headstone there originally.
