Hibo Green Two won the toss and elected to bat first, hoping to build a quick run rate in case rain disrupted playon Saturday.

Soldiers Warriors opened the bowling with Sibin Paul and Ahkil Nair. The scoring moved along well for Green until Josh Cooper was caught by Jobin Thomas off the bowling for Sibin Paul for nine runs.

Hammad Farooq came in to replace Sibin Paul. The scoring almost stopped completely when Nair got Rajeeva de Alwis, caught by Jobin Thomas. The score was now 2 for 31 off 10 overs. 

Adam Rudd and Matt Brown put on a 49 run partnership, with Matt Brown  bowled for 16 by Abdul Raheem. With rain falling drinks were called early. Hibo Green was three wickets down for 75 at drinks. Sreejesh Sreedharan bowled Rudd in the 27th  Only Abdul Kareem, Hammads son, put up a fight, scoring 17. Hibo Green was 9 for 125 at 39 overs, reduced by one for rain. Sreejesh and Arun Raj put the breaks on Green’s tail end. Sreejesh finished with four wickets for eight runs in seven overs. Arun Raj  none for 11 runs in five overs.

Soldiers Warriors reached the 126 run target in the 23rd over. Sreejesh scored 33 before he was caught off Abdul Kareem’s bowling. Sampath Palley was bowled for 18 by Rajeeva de Alwis. not out were; Jestin Jacob on 30 and Russell Mills on 34. Warriors won by eight wickets
