The SYO in Concertseries is the Sydney Youth Orchestra at its best.
It is a full symphonic orchestra of 60 players aged between 15 to 24 years. They will perform a range of classical favourites from Mozart to Stravinsky.
As part of the tour there are workshops with local young musicians, an introduction to the orchestra and its instruments for 2 to 11 year olds (and their parents!) and a full symphonic concert.
Ronald Prussing, Artistic Director and Principal Trombone with the Sydney Symphony conducts the orchestra.
One of the most popular parts of the tour is the family-friendly concerts, which are packed with enormous fun and entertainment.
