At 5.05am yesterday a southbound B-double truck driven by a 33-year-old Moorebank man carrying a mixed load of chemicals, including paint thinners and diesel, left the road about 5km from Marulan.
The driver told police he drifted off the road and attempted to over-correct the vehicle.
It veered into the median strip, went down a small depression, removed a few trees and rolled onto its side, completely blocking the northbound lane.
