ON Friday November 5, the Goulburn Railway Bowling Club men hosted a social visit from Bega Men’s Bowling Club who mixed with our players for an afternoon of bowls.
Malua Bay then visited on Sunday for a day of social mixed bowls.
We had almost 80 bowlers on the greens on Sunday in what could only be described as a great day.
Again the visitors mixed with our bowlers and we thank both clubs for visiting us.
Our team who won the group championship in the NSW Club Championship Sevens will now play at St Marys in the zone final on November 21.
We would also like to thank the ladies for their invitation to their Melbourne Cup Day.
Thursday twilight bowls have now commenced and is open to all interested including families with children who would also like to have a go. The play starts at 6.30pm and names to be phoned to the club by 5.45pm.
This night will be completed by 8.30pm and is a pleasant evening in the warmer weather under lights.

Coming event’s.
OVER the next few weeks we will have the finals of the men’s fours, triples and minor pairs in which there should be some great games of bowls.
As the pennants season approaches there will be a list going on the board for all persons wanting to be considered to place their name on.
We had a great year last year and look for your support again.
