The Webb Ellis Cup, also known as 'Bill' has been toured around the region over three days on it's way to New Zealand and Goulburn West was one of the chosen schools.
Principal Annette Broadbent said that the school was very excited to have a visit from the Webb Ellis Cup.
"I don't think the littlies realise, but we have some very excited dads here," Mrs Broadbent said.
Teacher at Goulburn West, Ross Copland trains regional teams in Rugby which was part of the reason the Cup stopped in at Goulburn West.
"I think it's an honour for the school and to be recognised for the part that Ross Copland played in rugby. It's nice to get that recognition for the school," she said.
Sam Rolfe also told the students the trophy had come to their school because of their interest in the sport.
"We chose your school because you've had great rugby development over the years," he said.
Development officer for the South East region, Sam Rolfe said that he was glad to have the trophy.
"It's very exciting to deliver the cup to these young minds," Mr Rolfe said.
