Deputy Controller for the Goulburn region Darryl Skinner told the Goulburn Post that they were attending to a couple of call outs for leaking roofs just outside of Goulburn, and that they were also conducting reconnaissance missions around both the Wollondilly and Mulwaree rivers and keeping an eye on their levels.
" We are obviously sending out the usual warnings to not drive or play in flood waters and there is the possibility of some low-level flooding here in Goulburn by later on this afternoon," Mr Skinner said.
"The Wollondilly is still relatively stable at this time, and the Mulwaree Ponds are rising gradually at this point in time. We are also keeping an eye on the Blackshaw Road underpass, which will most likely be flooded by around midday."
In the 24 hours to 9am on this morning, the Goulburn Airport weather station had recorded 37 mm, Murrays Flat 44 mm, and Mt Gray 46mm.
