AFTER floods, rain and more rain, the ladies were finally able to play a round of golf this week. We had 41 players for an 18 hole stroke round for Golf NSW and Club medals.

Even though the going was very hard, Ann Ridley had a blistering score of 68 nett.
Division two winner was Marilyn Manfred with 77 nett, while winner in division three was Ros Slater with 81 nett. Division one runner-up was Heather Buchanan with 71 nett, second best in division two was Alison Croker with 79.
Division three winner was Helen McAleer with 82 nett. Best with the putters were Ann Ridley with 26 and Nita Price 30. Jocelyn Tamsett took home the last prize on a countback with 32 putts.
A big congratulations goes to our captain Gail Moroney for her hole-inone on the 17th. Certainly not an easy shot in these conditions. Nearest the pin on the 11th hole was Shirley Weir.
We had 10 nine hole players who braved the conditions of the mud. A voucher went to Lorna Spencer and a ball to Pauline Saville, Kerry Shawyer, June Ryan, Margaret O’Rourke and Helen Bradley.
The ball competition is as follows: A Ridley 68, H Buchanan 71, C Smith 72, K Weir 73, W Stewart 74, K Marshall 75, G Moroney 76, M Webb 76, D Collins 76, M Manfred 77, D Bodel 78, A Croker 79, R Foster 80, F Kilmister 81, R Slater 81, and B Howe 81.
The WISH Award went to M Murphy, TPB Bakery was won by Alison Croker, the Lucky draw winner was Marty Wright and the raffle winner Prue Guzeit.
Congratulations to the Goulburn girls for their win over Bowral. Our ladies won 8 to 4.
