Some 120 golfers, guns and hackers alike, converged on the Goulburn Golf Club for the occasion, played out in the form of a three person Ambrose.
The team of Bob Kirk, Brian Webb and Mick O’Neill were declared overall winners with a score of 52-and-two-thirds.
Mark Thompson, Troy Devine and Paul Buttson were the scratch winners with 13 under. Mark Hazleword, Roger Gann and Alan Walcott were the best among the social golfers and Rob Sheeky, Dean Thompson and Tom Antony the members.
Rob Holgate, Digga Gann and Jono Gann were deemed best dressed, although the group also received numerous complaints about the damage their hot pink fluro shirts caused to players’ eyes.
New sponsor Russell Hogan from Inspirations Paint in Clinton Street received the Geoff Jansz award for catering excellence after he supplied an exquisite cheese platter prior to teeing off.
