IT was either a complete coincidence in timing or a slight retaliation back at the Waratahs who claimed their stake in Goulburn last week, that saw ACT Brumbies Nic White and Joe Tomane make their way up the federal for a community session at Trinity Catholic College on Friday.

Just a mere day after the Tahs were in town for an open-training session, declaring their desire for regional support, the two Brumby and Wallaby representatives took time out to provide students with a question and answer about life as an ACT Brumby.
Chances are it was a coincidence, but regardless of the reason, how good is it that Goulburn was lucky enough to be the attention of two Super 15 powerhouses in two consecutive days?
A post on the official Brumbies Facebook page said: “Did someone say #roadtrip? Joe and Nic on their way to Goulburn this morning. #Brumbiesterritory”
Brumbies territory? Tell that to Waratah coach Michael Cheika, who the morning before told the Post: “If you’re in NSW you support NSW.”
With both clubs vying for the affections of the town, Goulburnites must be feeling the love.
Community involvement from the two clubs can only be beneficial to not only the local rugby scene but sporting scene in general. Nic White even told the Post: “You’re doing well!” in regard to
having both clubs here in two days.”
The Post wants to know who you support.
