David Hodis, a 31 year old radiographer now based in Sydney, entered the house on Monday night and was partnered up with 30 year old Wagga woman Sandra Nixon. In this season's twist, Big Brother contestants compete as part of a team.
Nixon is well known around Wagga for her sporting prowess with Riverina softball club Kooringal and was working as a manager at Wagga’s Bonds store before entering the competition.
Describing himself as a prankster, a crowd pleaser and self-confessed English Premier League tragic, David says he has previously been mistaken for Toby Maguire (that's what he says anyway).
"I'm always looking for the light side of things... If you can put a smile on someone's face when they're in some of their darkest periods, then it really can go a long way. "
- David Hodis
The fiercely proud beardy lists his pet hates as "princesses... people who idolise Kim Kardashian... people who dribble on the toilet seat... crazy drivers... and people who don't appreciate the hard work healthcare workers do."
The previous Goulburnian in the House was Rhianna Baxter back in the 2008 season.
