Of the 100 riders nominated, 27 were from the Goulburn Club.
After a week of rain and gale force winds the cycling gods shone over the Old Hume Highway at Gunning, with near perfect conditions for racing.
In Division Two Tassie Davies and David Rowe in the three minute group combined with the limit riders at the Breadalbane turnaround and managed to stay away from the chasing groups.
In the final climb to the finish David Rowe lead out Tassie Davies and in a great act of sportsmanship sat up to let Tassie through for the win.
David did not go away empty handed finishing in third place.
In Division One the scratch riders made the catch with just under 10kms to go and on the final climb from Fish River the entire field came together.
A group of four riders attacked on the final climb but it was local rider, Cameron Roberts who proved the strongest rolling over the line for a comfortable win with Andy Cartwright finishing fourth.
Not surprisingly Goulburn riders dominated Division One fastest times with the locals taking out all five positions.
The next Interclub is at Illawarra on 18 June.
There was no local racing last weekend with riders competing in the Cootamundra Haycarters.
