THE Sunday competition was met with the best of winter weather for the two person ambrose that saw the pennants pair of Jon Gegg and Trent Cooper as winners with 62.5 nett.
Josh Cooper and Shane Cooper were the next best on 64.5 closely followed by their pairing team of Tom Heath and Brian Mills on 64.75.
Chris and Phil Elliott finished off the rundown with 65.
The nearest the pins for Goulburn Produce and Mitre 10 went to Russell Schmitt, the RSM Bird Cameron hole was not won and the Workers Club was won by Ray Turner.
Goulburn Soldiers Club Competition
THANK you to the Goulburn Soldiers Club for their continued support of our weekly competition, which was won by Russell Schmitt last week with 26 points.
The rundown included Eddie Hawkins 24, and Ron Wenban and Adam Boxsell both on 22.
Notices: next Sunday July 24 is a Stableford.
Foursomes Championships are on Saturday August 6 and Sunday August 7.
Saturday you can tee off any time, but organise your groups early and contact the committee if you have problems finding playing partners.
With the AGM scheduled for August 14 at 12.30pm, agenda items must be submitted by July 24.
Committee nominations are to be in by August 7.
Memberships are also due so please get them or risk losing your golflink handicap.
Thank you to all of the members who have paid so far and to the volunteers braving the recent bad weather to help out around the course.
Tully Park Early Birds Ladies
MONDAY, July 18, the competition was a 18 holes stroke and putting and fifth Championship round.
The winner was Joy Leary with 76 nett.
The putting was also won by Joy Leary with 29 putts on a countback.
Ball rundown went to 85 nett.
Next week, July 25, is an 18 holes stableford and nearest the pin.
Duty person is Ruth Beveridge and tee time is 9am.
Please get your partner organised for the Foursome Championships on August 8 and 9. It is only a couple of weeks away.
The AGM will be held on August 14 at approximately 12.30pm.
Please come to the meeting and see what has been achieved during the last 12 months.

Goulburn Golf Club
LAST Thursday 66 players hit off on the Goulburn course to contest a single stableford.
The winner on the day with a great score of 45 points was Perry Webb.
Ian Hutchins took out second prize with 39 points.
Third was Luke Sturgiss with 38 points on a countback from Robbie Fryer.
Nathan Kowalenko won the four cross holes with 11 points.
Nearest the pin on the Merino Fuels sponsored eighth hole was Mark Guthrie with 282cm.
He also collected the voucher for the Super Shot., The 11th hole which was sponsored by Bryant’s Pies went to Nathan Kowalenko with 113cm and the 15th sponsored by Murray’s Meats went to Glenn Mathews who was only 20cm away.
Warren Mitchell collected the last ball on the day with 33 points.
On Saturday there was a good field of 86 players to contest the single stableford.
Jake Mitchell had the great score of 44 points playing off a handicap of Plus 1.
Richard Miller survived a countback with vice captain Greg Croker to take second prize on the day with 39 points.
Fourth spot on the day was also decided by countback with vice president Gary Worboys in front of Glenn Matthews. Both players recorded 38 points.
Nearest the pin on the Merino Fuels eighth hole went to was Mat Langbein who was 215cm away from the hole.
He also collected the voucher for the Super Shot on the same hole.
The 11th hole which was sponsored by Bryant’s Pies was claimed by James Callanan who came in with 192cm off the mark away.
The 15th hole sponsored by Murray’s Meats was awarded to Mal Maher, whose ball landed 119cm away from the flag.
John Blewitt was the last lucky player to receive a ball with 32 points on a countback.
Next Saturday a single stableford will be conducted and same event will played the following Thursday.
