It led to the arrest of an 18 year-old man from Goulburn. The suspect is believed to have broken into Moss Vale during the day on Monday and stole an air rifle.
So the robbery was on Monday, and he was locked up by Tuesday, thanks to some valuable assistance from the community. It just goes to show how useful help from the communtiy can be: it can lead to the charge and arrest of people like this.
So here’s a reminder of how you can contact us:

We follow up all incidents, and all reports of crime through each avenue. We talk about each of them each morning and make decisions to best way to solve them.
Our good relationship with the community is shown in our low crime figures – let’s keep it that way.
In our continuing targeting of drink driving, some arrests have been made recently.
One was a 49 year-old woman from Bowral, who blew a reading of 0.296, mid-week at 5.45pm.
I don’t know how she was standing up, let alone driving car. Thank God we stopped her before she killed herself or someone else.
The message we want to send is that you will be caught if you drive drunk.
And finally – speeding again.
Going home last Friday, I personally stopped a red P-plater doing doing over 140km/h on the Hume Highway at Goulburn. There was a little baby in the car no more than three months-old.
Then I was going to work on Monday, and young lady almost blew my door off as she went past me between Mittagong and Bowral.
Both of them copped severe fines and hopefully that will stop them being so stupid again.
Until next week, stay safe...
