Mr Moyse is the official Bega Valley Shire town crier and he recently represented the Bega Valley at the Annual Championships of the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Australian Town Criers in West Wyalong earlier this month.
Competing against the 14 best town criers in Australia, and one from New Zealand, Mr Moyse used his incredible talent for yelling to land a couple of podium finishes.
Mr Moyse took out awards for second place in the overall senior section, for criers aged over 65, and placed third for the Home Cry which is a cry aimed specifically at advertising the Bega Valley.
Mr Moyse is well-known in Eden for being the official welcomer of visitors as they disembark cruise ships.
He said he has welcomed every cruise ship to Eden for the past two cruise seasons and spend as much time posing for photos as he does crying.
