A grass fire has broken out on Redground Road near Crookwell this afternoon.

NSW RFS operational officer of the Southern Tablelands Zone, Daniel Osborne said the blaze had currently been restricted by crews at the site.

Mr Osborne was awaiting an update on the situation, but his most recent information stated that there was currently no danger to local properties.
