At 11am on Sunday, Goulburn SES Local Controller Robert Bell said they were attending about five jobs.
The most significant was the rescue of a car from the Blackshaw Road underpass.
“Someone decided to drive through it. Police attended and the person was pulled out,” Mr Bell said.
“Police completed the rescue. No one was injured, according to our reports.”
Mr Bell said there had been over 50mm of rain on the city, to that time.
“We expect the rivers to come up a but, but nothing to cause any major flooding – it’s just a nuisance when people drive through floodwaters,” he said.
The other jobs they attended included a tree down at Marulan blocking the Hume Highway southbound. The RMS also attended this.
“There are leaking roofs and a house at Marulan with a flooded garage. We are using sandbags to stop it going into the house,” he said.
