Brutal conditions met the riders with westerly winds gusting up to 30km per hour which saw most groups split throughout the race.
In Division One, the limit riders were too good holding off all the chasers to take out all the podium positions. The scratch riders needing to make up 11 minutes and with Goulburn’s Cameron Roberts and the Emmerton brothers driving the bunch had a red hot go. Cameron Roberts was rewarded with fastest overall time with Jacob Emmerton third fastest.
In Division Two, the scratch riders struggled to make up the ground on middle groups that managed to combine and hold off the chasers. Martin Vaughan was the best placed Goulburn rider finishing fifth.
Congratulations to all Goulburn riders that made trip and a big shout out to Nadine Moroney who selflessly handed over her rear wheel to Wayne Bensley who punctured two minutes before his start time.
Next round of the Interclub Series will be hosted by the Camden Cycle Club on 28 July at Menangle.
