Officers from the Rural Crime Prevention Team, attached to the Monaro Police District, under the banner of Strike Force Bushby arrested the man over the theft on Monday (July 2).
The Strike Force was formed in December 2017 to investigate cattle theft from properties in the Kangaroo Valley.
During the investigation, two steers were seized from Moss Vale in January 2018 and nine Angus heifers were seized from a property in the Upper Kangaroo River in May 2018.
Following inquiries, a 47-year-old man was issued a future court attendance notice for two counts of cattle theft.
He will appear before Nowra Local Court on Monday, August 20.
