It starts on Friday, November 23 and Goulburn Mulwaree Council is calling for team nominations as places will fill quickly.
Last year, 30 teams raised over $15,000 for local charitable organisations and this year, proceeds will go towards Goulburn Palliative Care (60pc), Wollondilly Public School P and C (30pc) and CanAssist Goulburn (10pc).
Funds for a raffle will go to the Goulburn Railway Tennis Club to replacement of their lights with LEDs.
Mayor Bob Kirk encouraged local businesses and golf enthusiasts to get their nominations into the council.
“The day features a four person Ambrose competition over the 18 holes at Goulburn Golf Club and begins with a shotgun start,” he said.
“I would like to thank all of the generous organisations that have already come on board with sponsorship and in-kind donations towards prizes.
“It will be a brilliant day.”
The event is $35 per player and will include green fees and a barbecue lunch.
